Today I did a full day of photography training with an old school friend, Crispin Williams of Engaging Interiors. Crispin is a very talented interior designer creating modern looks for retail, bars and cafes.

Crispin wanted to get some tips and practical advice whilst actually shooting sites that he had previously designed. Improving his own photography so he can take great photographs of his handy work is a good idea, great photos will help sell his services to others.

We started off in Winchester at cafe/bar, Black White Red. Of course I couldn't resist getting a few snaps when I could ;-) Great fun and I could do all this whilst sampling the wonderful coffee, it's a hard life!

Our next stop was Pressley's in Chichester, a wonderful independent Jewellers. I only had chance to get a couple of shots here, but this fab hat light really caught my eye.

Our last stop was a great restaurant in Brighton, The New Club. This had a really wonderful urban feel to it and was really chilled out. They describe it as "an LA indie coffee house meets New York Bar & Diner". I really liked the G-Plan chairs that were used throughout, beautiful wood tables and a great full wall photo.

We were also lucky enough to have enough time to grab a bite to eat here too. I had what was probably the best burger I've ever had. I can heartily recommend the "Dirty Burger"!
