Crowborough Creative Focus (CCF) is a photography group that is held monthly at the Old Fire Station cafe in Crowborough, on the High Street.

When & Where?
The group meets at 7.30pm and will run for abut 2 hours.
We meet at the Old Fire Station cafe in Crowborough.
Cost?
The cost until now has been just £1 per person, per meeting. We will review this over Christmas and let you know what the new pricing structure will be in the February meeting. It will probably be a membership scheme, which will still represent very good value for money.
What Does The Group Do?
At each meeting there will be a photographic challenge set for you to shoot over the month. Sometimes this is set by myself and sometimes they are suggested by CCF members. The idea is to inspire you to take more photographs which has to be the best way to improve your skills. Every month I encourage you to send me some photos taken to the current theme, you find details of how to submit your photos below.
In addition I will be at every meeting and you are free to ask me any photographic questions you like and I will do my best to help you. Sometimes we have quite a few members attend the meeting and it’s difficult for me to spend very much time with individuals but I will always do my best.
The group is also about helping each other, talking with like-minded people, sharing ideas etc.

Interact Throughout The Month!
We now have a private Flickr Group so you can interact with each other (and me) and share photos and receive comments. Because it’s a private group you will need an invite to that group. Once you have joined Flickr, please just email me with your Flickr website address and I will send you through an invite to the group asap. Please email: hello@andrewnewson.co.uk
The meetings will always be held on the first Monday of every month, except when it falls on a Bank Holiday and in which cases the meetings will be the following Monday.
Current Theme: Street Photography
Submit your Street Photography images to: hello@andrewnewson.co.uk
Submit up to and no more than 5 images.
Submit them by no later than Sunday 5th February.
Please only submit JPGs.
If you can, please re-size them to be 2000 pixels on the long edge.
Please save each file with the following naming convention: your first name underscore your last name and a number. Like so: andrew_newson_01.jpg andrew_newson_02.jpg
We will sideshow these images in the cafe. Only images named in the above way will be considered.

Crowborough Creative Focus (CCF) is part of the Crowborough Creative Network (CCN).
It is open to all CCN followers along with any photography enthusiasts from the local community who would like to share their interest with others while at the same time gaining more knowledge about photography, especially the creative elements. It will be an informal group with plenty time for discussion and the exchange of ideas.
