This is the page for the Photoclub Christmas Meal at The Nevill Crest & Gun on Thursday 22nd December 2016 at 7.00pm.

In the first instance this is restricted to members of Photoclub Creative and Photoclub Technical who have attended the course at any point in 2016. If we have space after that we can open it up to everyone. Sorry but it's just a case of numbers and space.

We need a £5 deposit from everyone who wishes to come and we do need that ASAP please.
We then need you to choose your meal from the menu below.

Two Courses £22.95 Three Courses £27.95

  1. Roasted white onion and cider soup with thyme cream
  2. Smoked trout with beetroot relish, horseradish cream and toasted soda bread
  3. Five spiced duck leg with spring onion, cucumber, hoisin sauce and pancakes
  4. Goat's cheese, basil and roast pepper terrine with black olive tapenade
  5. Crab, parsley and lemon fishcake with saffron mayonnaise
  6. Juniper cured partridge salad with mulled pear and roasted hazelnuts

 

  1. Roast turkey and traditional accompaniments
  2. Red wine braised feather of beef with caramelised shallot, smoked bacon and leek mash
  3. Roast cod loin with tarragon crust, tomato, puy lentil and chorizo cassoulet
  4. Sweet potato, cauliflower and chick pea tagine with lemon and coriander cous cous
  5. Grilled sea bass fillets with caper and dill crushed potatoes and mussel and white wine sauce
  6. Sticky belly pork and pickled ginger salad with chilli roasted pineapple and five spice crackling

 

  1. Christmas pudding with brandy sauce
  2. Steamed treacle sponge pudding with custard
  3. Profiteroles and dark chocolate sauce
  4. Hot waffle 'Suzette' with clementines and clotted cream ice cream
  5. Taster plate of local cheeses with grapes, chutney and biscuits
  6. Black Forest mess - Kirsch cream with chocolate custard, meringue and cherries

 

This menu runs from Friday November 25th to Saturday December 24th
