PHOTOCLUB TECHNICAL 1
Photoclub Technical Level 1 is a 6 month long photography course in the technical aspects. We run one version from the Nevill Crest & Gun pub in Eridge on the Kent and Sussex border, the other version is run completely online only and therefore can be taken from anywhere in the world.
The current season of Photoclub Technical Level 1 started in February 2017 and finishes in August 2017. The next season of Photoclub Technical starts in August 2017.
Photoclub Technical Level 1 is learning about the technical side of photography with like-minded people in a social environment.
F numbers, shutter speeds and ISO ratings can be completely baffling if you're new to photography, this course will help cut through the jargon and get you confident with your camera settings and move you away from auto mode! If you're looking improve your skills and be confident with your camera then this is the course for you.
The essence of the course is 5 individual lessons with a 6th re-cap session on the last month. Each lesson will tackle a specific technical area of photography.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate to say that you have attended the course and gained a good understanding of your camera and photography.
The course has 6 monthly meetings over a 6 month period.
We run Photoclub Technical Level 1 at The Nevill Crest & Gun in Eridge on a Tuesday once a month.
This course is for beginners, you don't have to have any prior knowledge of your camera.
Some people like to supplement this course with a 121 session to gain a greater understanding of their camera but this is not essential. You will be eligible to a 10% discount on 121 course whilst enrolled on Photoclub Technical level 1.
Photo Tasks, Questions & Feedback
Throughout the course there will also be photo tasks and some questions as homework, this will demonstrate that you have a good understanding of the lessons. We will slideshow all members images on a laptop in the pub and we can discuss the results.
Every member will be invited to a private Facebook group and I would encourage you to join and use this as a place to ask questions or share your results. This group is used for all of my Photoclub groups.
Discounts on other Photography Courses
10% discount on 1-2-1 photography tuition for all members of this course.
