What's this then?
A photowalk is for people who enjoy photography, walking and socialising! It's not a photography course as such, more a meeting of like-minded people dedicating time to photography.
I first started going on photowalks myself in the mid naughties. I really enjoyed them and made some great friends, a lot of whom I am still in touch with today. Later this spurred me on to running my own walks and I have been running them since about 2010.
Who am I?
If you would like to know a little bit more about me then please visit the 'About' page
The April photowalk will be run in Hastings & St Leonards and will cover a relatively large area.
We will meet at 3.00pm on the seafront and wait for everyone to arrive.
We will actually head out on the walk at around 3.15pm and aim to finish around 7.00pm (sunset). For those that want to, we will round things off with Fish & Chips and perhaps a quick drink in a pub to have a chat about the day.
Where & when
Hastings (Hastings Pier)
Saturday 2nd April
3.00pm - 7.00pm
Hastings & St Leonards offers a lot of photographic opportunties with a good mix of historic architecture, urban decay and regeneration. It is of course an active fishing town too and the old town also presents some good photographic opportunities.
Pricing & booking
To book your place on this walk, please just add to cart and go through to the checkout to finish your purchase. You will get an automated email that confirms your purchase and this will secure your place on the walk.
The price for photowalks is £15.
£5 of that goes directly to the British Heart Foundation, who are my chosen charity to support in 2016. Previous Photowalks this year have raised £180 for the British Heart Foundation.
I look forward to meeting you on the photowalk.
1) Can I pay another way?
If you prefer, I can invoice you via email and payment can be made via PayPal or Bank Transfer. Please just let me know if you would prefer this method.
2) What sort of camera do I need?
There is no restriction on the type of camera needed. Whether you have a mobile phone camera or an expensive SLR, it's really fine.
3) Can I pay cash on the day?
Not really I'm afraid, I need to have a fairly clear idea of numbers for the walk and payment beforehand helps with this.
