The course aims to give participants a good introduction to the main features of their Fuji X camera whilst keeping things as simple as possible. We will move away from fully automatic modes and learn how to take better photos more consistently.
This course is a fun and social way of learning. It's not important to have any prior knowledge of your camera.
Users of all Fuji X cameras, such as:
- Fujifilm X100 / X100s / X100t
- Fujifilm X-T1 / X-T2
- Fujifilm X-Pro 1 / X-Pro 2
- Fujifilm X-E1 / X-E2 / X-E2s
- Fujifilm X-T10 / X-M1 / X-70
My objectives are for you to take control of your camera by utilising Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual exposure modes so you can start to achieve consistently better photographs.
The course starts at 10am with a talk at the cafe in the De La Warr Pavilion. At this meeting I will give a talk about Fuji X camera settings and hand out some notes for you. You will also have a chance to ask questions.
Around 11am we will all head out together on a 2 mile photowalk. We will take our time on the walk and I anticipate this to take approximately 2 hours. I will spend as much time as possible with each individual and I encourage you to ask questions as we go. I will be setting up a few test shots for you to take, this will require you to use the correct settings for the perfect exposure and I’m on hand to help with that.
We will arrive back at the pub around 1.00pm. You are free to grab something to eat from a fish & chip shop or eat in the pub where we will do our review session.
When we are ready we will do a slideshow of everyones images on my laptop. I will offer a few words of encouragement and advice as we go.
The day will finish at no later than 3.30pm.
