Christmas Photowalk in London
Group size: 10 maximum
The Christmas Photowalk and post-walk drinks in London.
This photowalk is open to all.
Photowalk of around 4 miles starting at Borough Market (London Bridge).
We will meet at the entrance to Borough Market at 1.00pm.
When everyone has arrived we will spend a little time photographing around the market and no doubt sample some of the lovely street food on offer.
Around 2pm we will walk along the South Bank to The Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge. We will cross over the river and head to the historic pub Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street. We'll stop for a quick refreshment here at 3.00pm, leaving again at 3.30pm.
We will then head to Covent Garden and Seven Dials.
Our final destination will be Carnaby Street where we can photograph the Christmas lights.
We will stay in Carnaby Street and go to a wonderful Italian restaurant, Pastaio. This place is likely to be busy and does not take reservations! They do however run a virtual queue system meaning if we get there about 5.30pm and register with them we can go for a drink locally until a table is ready for us.
I went on my first photowalk over 10 years ago and I made some great friends that I'm still in touch with today. Having enjoyed photowalks myself I decided to start running them myself as part of my photography training business.
This photowalk is not a structured photography course as such, however I am very happy to offer tuition and help with your camera if required, but please bear in mind that it is a group event and I will need to split my time between all attendees. If you require help with your camera please just ask when on the walk.
If you are looking for a more structured photography course to get to grips with your camera settings please consider a 121 session with myself.
Everyone who attends photowalks are more than welcome to be part of our private Facebook Group for the walks. This is a great place to come and share your images from the walk and to stay in touch with people you have met. Once booking you can just access the group here and request to join. The group is also useful if we get separated on the walk and we can use it as a communication tool.
We do tend to get a few existing clients coming along on these walks, but it's always great to see new faces and you will be most welcomed when joining us.
