Photoclub Creative Lite is a paired down version of my popular Photoclub Creative course that we run from the pub.
Photoclub Creative Lite is a fun, social and creative way of pushing your photography to the next level.
Each month you will be challenged to produce photographs to a creative assignment decided by the group.
At the next meeting we will watch a slideshow of everyone's images.
We will meet at my studio in Crowborough on the second Thursday of the month.
There will be 4 creative assignments and 5 meetings in total.
Photoclub Lite is a paired down version of Photoclub in the Pub. We will meet once a month (second Thursday of the month), at my studio in Crowborough. Every month the group will decide on the next assignment. We can talk about different ideas/themes and agree on the assignment for that month and then talk about ways to approch it.
There will be 4 creative assignments in total. You will have about a month to take and submit your best photos, up to a maximum of 10 images. These will need to be submitted to me by the Sunday before the next meeting. Submitting your images is easy, we get you set up with a free Dropbox account and it's a simple as saving your images in to a shared folder.
At the meeting we will do a projector slideshow of everyone's images, this is a great way to view images in large format! If you are happy to, you can talk us through the photos and what you were wanting to achieve with them. At the meeting I can also give you my feedback, should you wish.
One member of the group will receive a print of one of their images, I call this the 'commended print'. It's certainly not a competition, but I just select one image that has really caught my eye.
You can also purchase prints of your photos at an additional cost. Just let me know when you submit your images which ones you want as prints and I will have them ready for our meeting on the Thursday.
Every member will be invited to a private Facebook group and I would encourage you to share your work-in-progress, your thoughts and generally bounce ideas around. This is also a good place to go to if you are having trouble deciding on your final images.
I will provide refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits.
