Shooting in Raw format and developing your images yourself is probably the biggest change you can make to improve the quality and standard of your photographs.

I currently offer tuition in what I deem to be the most important and relevant processing platforms, Adobe Lightoom 3, Photoshop Elements 9 and Photoshop CS5.

Course Description:

The Lightroom course provides you with a comprehensive introduction to RAW processing and the most relevant features of Lightroom. The course covers workflow such as importing and cataloging your images and then developing and outputting for print and web.

It’s not possible to cover every feature of Lightroom but I concentrate on the following:

  • Import – Getting your Raw files in to Lightroom
  • Library – Organising your photos by using keywords and collections. Searching and viewing using filtering.
  • Develop – Including: exposure, white balance, local adjustments, shadow & highlights, mono conversions, sharpening & noise reduction
  • Export – Outputting for Print/Web/Screen

Notes:
* Some travel expenses might need to be added for traveling to your home, depending on where you live.
I use Apple Mac computers to deliver the training, but it doesn’t matter if you use a PC, the software is virtually identical.
This training course is approximately 6 hours in length, in addition we will take rest breaks and a lunch break. Overall the whole session should last about 7.5 hours maximum.
